Benefits of Massage

The musculoskeletal system is driven by a complex neurological network that keeps it functioning optimally and efficiently.  Through misuse, disuse, and/or abuse muscle imbalances can occure and the tissues may become overstretched (long and weak) or rigid (short and tight).  Muscular imbalance can alter a joint's mobility and thus require structural compensation to perform our daily functions.

Informed by assessment and a client's individual goals, I use manual therapy techinques to correct patterns of strain in the soft tissue to help neutralize local discomfort and dysfunction.
