After receiving a Bachelor's in Philosophy, Heidi moved to Boston in 2007, to pursue the 900 hours of training in Muscular Therapy. With over seven years of experience in the massage therapy field, she stays current with advanced continuing education that has further refined her skills.
Through triggerpoint therapy, myofascial release, and stretching, Heidi has a focus on pain management and rehabilitation that considers the whole body and its tension patterns that can lead to myofascial pain.
Heidi is continually expanding her knowlegde of the human body and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Acupuncture at the New England School of Acupuncture.
Aside from her private practice in Watertown, Heidi enjoys being the massage therapist for the Harvard Women's Swimming and Diving team.
Understanding the body's craving for variety in movement and challenge, outside of the treatment room, Heidi can be found joyfully jumping, running, hiking, lifting, and punching.
